This is so exciting! Mitch Furman of Studio Kallisti in Miami Florida has finished the masters for the album I have been working on for so long. This is a set of songs that i built after being given just the vocals from singers in Inhambane, Mozambique. This project was inspired by the Remixinhambane project (, but I needed to do it more and do it bigger. Check out these songs, I am super-excited to see this album released!!

The African music album is heading to Mitch Furman for mastering! I am so excited to have gotten this far, and Mitch is the perfect person for the mastering process. Here is a glimpse into what this album will be like. It is sounding amazing, I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to do this. And make sure that you check out the Remixinhambane project, which is where I got started on this amazing journey.

Cranky Chris- Sweet and awesome Alt-Country!

A few months ago I was contacted by an artist and he wanted his EP mixed and mastered. His name is Chris Garrison and he is from the sunny southern state of Alabama. He said that it was country-ish with some rock. I am not a huge country music fan, but have a deep respect for the excellent musicianship that seems to always come with every country artist. Chris is no exception to this! His music is both fresh and familiar, gentle and rocking, fun and fiery intense. Check out his 5 song EP we just finished up!

New Mastering Project: The Slow Blade

I had the intense pleasure of getting to master this new EP from London band The Slow Blade. This stuff rocks. It’s raw, unfettered, and is all about the untamed parts of living. It is still to-be-released, but it should be dropping soon. Check back here for updates. But until then, check out the music here!

I thought that I had finished this song, but after doing some major gear and ear upgrades, this song cried out to me for some re-working. This is beautiful stuff!!!

Another new mix for the African album!!!!

I am in a good mental space, it seems. I am cranking out some very cool stuff. This song is called Marrabenta, and the singer goes by the name Big Boss. I decided to make this a traditional contemporary tune, much like the music of Zimbabwe known as “high-life”. I am loving this music!! I can listen to this over and over and feel like dancing and smiling. I can’t wait for this album to get completed, it’s going to be an awesome showcase for these great singers in Inhambane Mozambique!!

Here are some songs I have re-worked into totally new creations. I will be updating this set frequently, so make sure you check back on this one.  The originals were already very artful sort of Laurie Anderson-esque. They were done by the charming and talented Richard Walker from London, England. Enjoy the new vibe too!!
